It’s been a long time since I’ve written a blog post—but for a good reason! First, have you noticed anything different? My team and I have been hard at work on my NEW website! Introducing ‘Scooter’s World’ 2.0—a resource for kids (and kids at heart!) to learn about air pollution.

I encourage you to look around, but here’s a ‘ruff’ idea of what you’ll find:

• All About Air Pollution – Here you’ll find information about air pollution, including what it is, how it impacts your health, and what YOU can do to reduce it.
• Games & Activities – Air pollution is a serious topic, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun while learning about it! On this page there are games and activities to teach you all about air pollution.
• My Blog – Find my future blogs here— I’ll be posting regular updates!

Pretty cool stuff, right? Don’t get me wrong, I thought my old website was pretty nifty, but there is always room for improvement! Do you know what else has improved? Air quality over the past 30 years.

The 2024 Spare The Air season started May 1 and runs through October 31! Spare The Air began 30 years ago in the Sacramento region to help educate residents about air pollution and its health impacts. Since then, our air quality has improved, but there is still more work to do!

My crew and I will be out in the community this season to spread the word. Check out my schedule on the homepage, or have a grown-up follow me on Facebook or Instagram to find out where I’ll be.
